BUN levels

So does that mean that the kidneys are not working as well or are working better, or that there is just more waste in the blood, or less? I would think that there would be more waste in the kibble fed diet, considering the contaminants.Do you find this valuable?

It didn't specify....but I agree. With all of the additives, preservatives, and other BS in kibble, it would make sense that there is more waste. The only part I could gather was they were just telling raw-feeders not to be alarmed if the BUN levels were elevated....that it comes with the territory. There again, what type of RAW? I mean, strictly meat? Are they adding supplements? Or are they throwing in a few grains now and then? It didn't say.....and it didn't give a source of the study.
